Volunteer Driver (Rugby and surrounding areas)

Our Volunteer drivers play a vital role in providing transport services across Stratford and Warwick Districts and the Rugby Borough area. We have approximately 3000 people who use this important service and approximately 150 wonderful volunteer drivers transporting passengers to medical appointments, dental appointments, social events, family gatherings and more. These drivers provide a lifeline for those who cannot travel themselves or on public transport services.

We need drivers with their own car to help us provide transport to local residents to get out and about. Without these volunteers and with the additional pressures on the NHS, many patients wouldn’t be able to attend their hospital appointments in our local area. This important service can also help to alleviate social isolation, depression and loneliness.
